Archipelago House

Architects: Strom Architects

Location: Loviisa, Finland

Located in the Finnish archipelago, this family retreat designed by Strom Architects is a timeless sanctuary built to be enjoyed for generations. Strive CGI had the pleasure of visualising this legacy project, which is composed of a series of three pavilions gently embedded in the natural landscape.

The main house acts as a social heart, with shared living spaces and a kitchen that also works for quiet solo stays. The guest house offers private bedrooms and a calm living area, while a third building serves as two flexible studies that can double as extra sleeping space. A separate sauna sits across the water, accessed by a narrow causeway.

Every element is designed to respect and complement the untouched beauty of its surroundings – a place to slow down, reconnect, and simply be.
